So weather you are trying to understand a switch function on a transmitter or a technical point of a flight manoeuvre Paul can communicate with you at you pace and level. Welcome to Paul Heckles School of Flying

 

The Paul Heckles School of Flying offers a comprehensive range of training, not only do we offer flying lessons but theory and advice on safety as well as building and setting up services to all modellers. Whether you are a raw beginner, improving sports flyer or even if you are already an expert pilot - we can help you improve your flying skills.

Opening hours are Mon - Sat
(note we are now closed on Sundays)
10am to 4pm.

 


The Difference

The school is owned and operated by Paul and Mandy and with their team of highly professional individuals it prides itself on the friendly and personal approach given to all students. All training is tailored to the students individual requirements.

Paul Heckles has been one of the top UK public display pilots for over 15 years and started flying at the age of 6. Paul has a full size aviation pilots license and is a judge at the prestigious World 3D Masters Helicopter competition. Over the last 12 years he has successfully taught hundreds of students with the knowledge, experience and skills that he has gained over the years. Mandy has worked for a model manufacture and retail business and a full size helicopter charter company as well as assisting Paul with his training.

It is without a doubt that it is Paul and Mandy's combined wealth of experience in all aspects of aviation that has enabled them to set up a training school that will really work for you.
